Food is our obsession
Foodipe started in a tiny apartment kitchen with one mission: make the world's best recipes accessible to every home cook β without dumbing them down.
Our Story
It started with a bad recipe. In 2021, our founder Maria attempted a "simple" lamb tagine from a popular cooking blog β and ended up with something that tasted like despair in a pot.
The problem wasn't the recipe itself. It was the lack of context, the missing details, the "add spices to taste" instructions that meant nothing to someone who had never tasted the dish before.
Foodipe exists to fix that. Every recipe we publish includes why each step matters, what to look and smell for, common mistakes to avoid, and what the dish should taste like at every stage.
What We Stand For
Tested & Trusted
Every recipe is made at least three times before publishing. No guesswork, no vague instructions.
Globally Inspired
We chase authentic flavors, not watered-down 'easy versions'. Real ingredients, real technique.
Deeply Documented
We explain the why, not just the what. Understanding the technique means you can improvise.
Mindful Cooking
We include nutritional info, seasonal variations, and mindful substitutions for every recipe.
